When your business is located in the heart of Louisville, KY, the Kentucky Derby is a big deal. So, in March of 2020, when the Kentucky Derby was delayed due to COVID, we decided to host our own Aesthetic Derby.

The Aesthetic Derby was a week-long social media campaign that involved followers “betting” on their horse by liking and commenting on their favorite treatment’s racer card post. The horse with the most interaction at the end of the week would be the winner and everyone who bet on that horse received an exclusive discount for that treatment.

We diversified the content going out between race cards, race updates, virtual games, giveaways, & Facebook Live videos. This campaign resulted in over 700 comments, 500 likes, and a huge influx in new followers to their social pages on both Facebook and Instagram.

"Marketing during a pandemic is all about adapting to whatever challenges come your way. In this case, we wanted to create the same excitement and interaction as an in-person event while still remaining socially conscious. The event was incredibly well received by the client's followers and was a great opportunity to provide some fun and distraction to people during a stressful time."
